"A four-star high school talent, Jizzle James made his debut for the Bearcats this season after a stellar high school career at Orlando’s Olympia High School.
The son of former NFL running back Edgerrin James, Jizzle was the #9 ranked point guard in the Class of 2024, leading the Titans to an appearance in the FHSAA (Florida) state championship game and choosing the Bearcats over Florida and Georgia.
He emerged onto the national scene during the Nike EYBL’s final circuit play of the season in Kansas City, averaging 20 points per game, 56% shooting, 3.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game."
"In his freshman year at Cincinnati, James managed an 8.8 points per game scoring average, which was the best by a Bearcats freshman since Jacob Evans averaged 13.8 per game in 2014-15 for Mick Cronin's Bearcats.
James also put up 19 points in his first Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout vs. Xavier at Cintas Center. James shot 43% from the field and 78% from the line. His 76 assists were third on the team behind Thomas and Simas Lukošius.
James has declared his return to the Bearcats for the upcoming season, adding to the experienced roster alongside Thomas, Lukošius, Dan Skillings Jr., and possibly Aziz Bandaogo, all with starting experience."
